Eclipse Is On Fandango’s Top 10 Must See Movies Of 2010

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

June 30th can’t come soon enough for Twihards who are pining to see more of a vampire-human-werewolf love triangle. The stakes are higher as Victoria, a bloodsucker bent on revenge, builds her own army to kill Bella. You can count on Edward and Jacob to serve up the beefcake in IMAX proportions, too. Third time’s a charm, but we’ll have to wait and see if this most-anticipated flick will phase into another record-breaking weekend.

Will Rob Attend The Golden Globes?

Will "Twilight Saga" stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner attend next month's Golden Globes?

The Dish Rag has it on good authority that it's a definite possibility.

And if they do, there's also a very good chance we'll see them afterwards at at least one of the five official parties that night. OMG, this is better news than Rob's unreleased photos!

There are five parties already confirmed to take place on Sunday, Jan. 17, inside the Beverly Hilton where the Globes are traditionally held.

And fledgling film company Summit Entertainment (yes, the "Twilight Saga" studio) has joined the ranks of the big studio parties being thrown at the hotel by Universal, NBC, Warner Bros, HBO, and Harvey and Bob Weinstein.

As usual, there will the infamous Instyle/Warner Bros bash down in the Oasis Courtyard.

And then there's the Universal/NBC/Focus fete, held high on the hotel roof overlooking Beverly Hills, followed by the always hot HBO bash at Circa 55, spreading out around the pool. Then there's Weinstein Company's celebration, traditionally held in the former Trader Vic's space.

But the big news is that distributor Summit Entertainment -- the folks who brought us the infectiously successful "Twilight Saga: New Moon as well as the critically lauded "The Hurt Locker" -- will hold its very first onsite Golden Globe party this year.

We hear it will be in the Stardust Room.

We're thinking at least a couple supernatural attendees will be mandatory.

Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner Split!

So much for the two Taylors finding love.

After three months of dating, country singer Taylor Swift and New Moon star Taylor Lautner have split, UsMagazine.com has learned.
"It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends," a source close to Swift, 20, tells Us. "There was no chemistry."

The pair -- who met on the set of the romantic comedy Valentine's Day -- first sparked rumors of a romance when she hugged him at her October 9 concert in Rosemont, Illinois. They have since been spotted on several wholesome dates -- like their frozen yogurt date at Menchie's alongside Swift's mom earlier this month -- and have each coyly alluded to their relationship on separate Saturday Night Live hosting gigs.
However, the relationship officially fizzled when Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Swift's birthday party on Dec. 13, a friend of the singer reveals.

"He liked her more than she liked him," the source tells Us. "He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn't travel much to see him."
Lucky for Lautner, the split won't inspire angry songs like those written about ex Joe Jonas -- who dumped Swift during a 27-second phone call in 2008.

"They plan to stay friends," the source says.

In fact, Swift -- whose friend says she is a "hopeless romantic" who "wants everything she writes about" in her songs -- will likely reunite with the Twilight hunk when they begin promoting Valentine's Day, out Feb. 12.

Robert Pattinson -The Sexiest Star of 2009

At Moviefone.com, Chris Weitz’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon was named best movie (global box office: $662 million) with more than 40 percent of the vote. The film’s male star, Robert Pattinson, was chosen the sexiest actor, followed by his New Moon rival Taylor Lautner, the "male breakout star" of 2009.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is the most anticipated movie of 2010, followed by Iron Man 2, starring Robert Downey Jr, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, starring Daniel Radcliffe.

Considering that she gets to be (emotionally) sandwiched between Pattinson and Lautner in both New Moon and the upcoming Eclipse, Kristen Stewart should have been voted the luckiest star of 2009, but I don’t believe there was such a category anywhere. Maybe next year.

The Vanities Girls (Anna Kendrick)

Age: 24. Provenance: Portland, Maine. It’s a vampire world and we’re just dying in it: Kendrick made her name in the original Twilight movie - “I had no idea; none of us knew” - as mere mortal Jessica Stanley, “Bella’s friend from school.” She reprises the role in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, in theaters now. And for the adults in the audience … Kendrick shines as George Clooney’s tightly wound underling in Jason Reitman’s well-timed dramedy about corporate cost-cutting, Up in the Air, which is already generating Oscar buzz. “I was shooting them both at the same time,” says Kendrick. “It was great because my character in Up in the Air is so rigid, and it was fun to go to Vancouver [to the set of New Moon] and play the silliest girl on the planet!” - Krista Smith

STARmeter Top 25 of 2009

1. Robert Pattinson

(Last year: #33)

The man once best known as doomed Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire rocketed into the stratosphere as moody-sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight films, and developed a fervent following of both fans and photographers who couldn't get enough of his sparkly skin, wayward hair, and magnetic screen presence. With the third Twilight film coming this summer, expect no downward turn in his popularity.

2. Kristen Stewart

(Last year: #8)

She excelled in indie comedy Adventureland, but it was all-Bella-all-the-time for the female lead of the Twilight movies this past year.

5. Taylor Lautner

(Last year: Uncharted)

The shirtless lycanthrope of New Moon had fans shouting "Team Jacob!" as they compared his tanned pecs to co-star Robert Pattinson's pale, sparkly skin.

8. Dakota Fanning

(Last year: Uncharted)

No longer the cute little moppet of yore, she brought pure (and fun) evil to the Twilight series as part of the dreaded Volturi in New Moon.

11. Ashley Greene

(Last year: Uncharted)

As sympathetic vampire Alice Cullen, she proved to be one of the biggest breakout stars from the Twilight series.

15. Nikki Reed

(Last year: Uncharted)

Twilight fever gave the Thirteen star plenty of attention as one of the many photogenic vampires in New Moon.
