Anna Kendrick: Oscar Reaction!

Anna Kendrick was almost rendered speechless on Tuesday morning (February 2) when she found out she had been nominated for an Oscar.

The 24-year-old actress, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, issued in a statement, “I am thrilled beyond words to be nominated with these talented and inspiring women. Being involved in a film as special as Up in the Air was a dream come true. I am overwhelmed and honored by this nomination and am so grateful to be able to share this experience with George [Clooney], Vera [Farmiga] and [director] Jason [Reitman].”

JJJ loves the fact that when previously polled at MTV, Anna only scored 1% in a poll which asked readers who of the Twilight cast was most likely to be nominated for an Oscar first. Robert Pattinson was chosen as the winner.

Anna even shared a celebratory drink and dinner with a few pals at the RH restaurant at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood.
