Coming to ReelzChannel’s “Spolight” documentary series next month is a full coverage of popular movie series “Twilight”. Called “Twilight Weekly: Spotlight”, the special will air weekly starting August 10 at 10/9c in the moments leading to the U.S. premiere of “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” on November 20.
For one thing, the cable network has heavily covered the “Twilight” saga since its first movie. “Our special coverage of the Twilight movie has already earned ReelzChannel a reputation among Twi-hards, big fan blogs and social networking groups as a premiere destination for the latest news and views on all things Twilight,” said Stan Hubbard, CEO of ReelzChannel. Naibe Ryenoso will host the show and guide viewers into the latest news and info about “New Moon” and the third installment “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse”. There will also be cast interviews and special coverage from TwiCon, a convention that will be held this summer to accommodate all the Twilight fans out there.
ReelzChannel has conducted an audition for a number of people who would like to be a contributor at TwiCon. Six hopefuls have been selected in New York recently and the winner will be announced on a special segment airing July 27.
“With the launch of the new ‘Twilight Weekly: Spotlight’ series, the talent search, and other special Twilight events planned, ReelzChannel is expanding on its programming and demonstrating the network’s commitment to connecting people to the movies they love by engaging movie fans in new ways and providing unique programming and web content with fresh perspectives,” Hubbard added.
