As the news broke this week that Bryce Dallas Howard would be replacing Rachelle Lafevre, who played Victoria in both Twiilght and the upcoming New Moon, for Eclipse, fans have been left wondering what the cast thinks of the change. Christian Serratos, who plays Bella Swan’s high school pal Angela Weber in the Twilight series, spoke to OK! about her feelings on the casting switch.
“It saddened me to hear about Rachelle and she greatly missed,” Christian tells OK!, adding, ” Although under these circumstances, I am excited to work with Bryce and can’t wait to start filming!”
After Summit Pictures announced the switch earlier this week and chalked it up to scheduling conflicts, Rachelle fired back with a statement saying she was “stunned” at the decision. Summit returned in kind, attributing the switch to her decision to take on Barney’s Version, an indie flick, for 10 days during rehearsal and filming time for Eclipse.source
