Back at the Cannes Film Festival in May, The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Robert Pattinson went to the screening of Brad Pitt's film Inglourious Basterds while promoting his in-production film Remember Me.
Reports detailed their supposed encounter after the festival, and the two have been compared on a fairly regular basis ever since.
Most recently, Elle Magazine compared the two, stating that "[t]he similarly hunky actors each attained the rarefied distinction of having made blood-sucking look sexy."
Of course, Pattinson played vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight, up-coming The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and soon-to-be-in-production The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and Brad Pitt played Louis (Louis de Pointe du Lac, that is) in Interview With The Vampire (based on the legendary Anne Rice book) back in 1994 alongside Tom Cruise and Kirsten Dunst (oh, and Christian Slater).
One might note that Pattinson actually beat Pitt in a voter-based contest for Vanity Fair's "Most Handsome Man in the World" in June (though Pitt's fans did make a valiant showing, putting him in third place in the contest).
