Pattinson As Cobain? =)) R-Pattz Plays The Guitar, But ... C'mon ...

Robert Pattinson won't be playing Kurt Cobain in the upcoming biopic on the late Nirvana rocker

Does Robert Pattinson have the Teen Spirit to play grunge rocker Kurt Cobain?

The "Twilight" heartthrob is rumored to be cast as the Nirvana front man in an upcoming biopic, according the U.K.'s The Sun.

RPattz, 23, was reportedly contacted for the role by Cobain's widow, rocker Courtney Love, who also wants Scarlett Johansson to play herself, the paper says.

However, Love's manager says it's not likely.

"That's an amazing story, and the first I've heard of any of this," Jonathan Daniel told SPIN.com. "Courtney likes Scarlett Johanssen as an actress and as a person, so it wouldn't surprise me if she wanted her to play her. I'm not sure she knows who R Patz is, but he sure is cute."

Though the casting remains a mystery, Daniel did confirm that a production deal with Universal does exist. The film's working title is reportedly "Heavier Than Heaven."
