Looks like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are about to become parents! Nine-year-old Mackenzie Foy is reportedly close to signing on to play Edward and Bella’s daughter, Renesmee, in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.Not only did Breaking Dawn land Maggie Grace as Irina today, but now, according to Entertainment Weekly, Mackenzie is in talks to play Renesmee.
The young actress has appeared on the TV shows Flash Forward and ‘Till Death, but may be getting her big break in Breaking Dawn.
However, Renesmee’s character has to age rapidly in the film, so some special effects or a younger star may have to be cast.
According to an EW source, director Bill Condon may use digital effects like the ones used in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button to transfer Mackenzie’s face onto a younger child.
Summit Entertainment has not made a statement about the casting yet, but we hope she’s the choice!
We can definitely see Mackenzie being the daughter of Rob and Kristen, but what do you think? (source)
