College course to unite ‘Twilight’ fans

LAKE JACKSON — If you can’t get enough of the “Twilight” saga, Brazosport College Community Education has just the right class for you.

Beginning Wednesday, the college’s Continuing Education Center will be offering a special class, titled “Twilighters Unite,” aimed directly at children ages 12-17 that have a passion for Stephenie Meyer’s popular series of books, as well as the recently released film of the same name.

In the class, kids will meet and discuss the books, the characters and the books versus the movie, as well as any other topics related to the “Twilight” saga. Best of all, the class allows children with a common interest to not only make new friends, but also to expand their minds discussing a subject they have a high interest in.

The class meets from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays through July 8 at the Lake Jackson Community Education Center at 120 Circle Way in Lake Jackson. Cost for the class is $39.

For more information or to register, call (979) 230-3600 or visit www.brazosport.edu/ce.
