Months of speculation about the off-screen relationship between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have proved largely anticlimactic, as the two Twilight stars keep insisting they're "just friends." But the first inkling of hope came last night for "Robsten" die-hards.
RadarOnline reports that Pattinson and Stewart spent Thursday night together in a hotel room at the Chateau Marmont. They came into the establishment with pal Marcus Foster, and the trio ducked into a suite.
8:45 pm: A guitar is delivered to their room.
1:30 am: Foster leaves the room, but Rob and Kristen stay inside through the night!
The two have been apart most of the summer while Pattinson worked on Remember Me in New York and Stewart filmed The Runaways in LA. Sounds like this reunion could be a romantic one. Prepare to analyze their every move at the Teen Choice Awards Sunday, where Twilight is up for numerous awards.

And while Kristen was quiet around others, she got a chance to be alone with Rob later. A source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com that around 1:30 a.m. Friday Marcus Foster left the suite. Rob and Kristen stayed inside the room.
Many of Rob and Kristen's Twilight co-stars arrived in Vancouver, British Columbia this week to prepare for the start of filming of Eclipse --the third movie in the Twilight saga.
Rob and Kristen are enjoying some down time together in Los Angeles before re-joining their castmates Sunday at the Fox Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, California.

Eclipse starts shooting on August 17 in Vancouver and is expected to wrap in October.
For part of the summer - Rob and Kristen have been apart.
Both Pattinson, 23, and Stewart, 19, have been working on their own solo projects on opposite ends of the country. Pattinson had been in New York shooting the thriller Remember Me, and Stewart has been in Los Angeles filming the Joan Jett biopic, The Runaways.
The Teen Choice 09 Awards airs Monday night on Fox, check local listings for time; New Moon hits theatres this November, while Eclipse is slated for a summer release.
But, wait…Rob and his very close co-star were also hanging out…First Rob and Kristen checked out Rob’s fellow Brit packer Marcus Foster’s gig for the second night in a row at the Hotel Café… After the show they all headed back to Rob’s hangout at the Chateau Marmont. Later, our spies spotted Rob, Marcus and four girls, including “one very cute blonde” next to Rob taking the elevator down to the lobby and then heading out into the night… The life of a vampire.

One day after Robert Pattinson was photographed speeding away from Kristen Stewart’s L.A. home in his car, it’s Bella that’s the one attempting to make a stealthy exit.
On Friday morning, the Twilight star was photographed leaving the side exit of the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood, where R-Pattz has been staying since returning to L.A. earlier this week.
Five minutes after she left, Rob himself was spotted chowing down on the hotel’s patio.
